After the incident  of "fried towel" that happened to one of their customers, Jollibee Food Corporations has closed down its branch in Bonifacio Global City since yesterday (June 3).

In a statement released early Thursday, Jollibee said that it will temporarily halt the operation of its  Jollibee Bonifacio-Stop Over branch for 3 days "to review its compliance with procedure and retrain its store team" to ensure that the incident will not happen again.

"We are deeply concerned about this matter and have conducted a thorough investigation on the incident," the company said.

It was late Tuesday (June 1) when a Facebook user named Alique Perez shared online that she received a fried towel instead of a fried chicken.
