An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 was felt in Luzon this morning, Wednesday (July 27, 2022).
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the earthquake was recorded at exactly 8:43 am. It has a depth of 025 kilometers and its epicenter is noted at Lagangilang, Abra.
Intensity IV is reported in Quezon City. Some other affected provinces are Pampanga, Isabela, Bulacan, and even Metro Manila and nearby areas.
Everyone is advised to watch for aftershocks, especially in areas where the quake was extremely felt.
Individuals are also reminded to duck, cover, and hold if an earthquake happens again.
