Son of a tricycle driver passes board exam with "exemplary performance"

Netizens cannot help but express their admiration for a young man who passed the bar exam and dedicated his "exemplary performance” to his late father whom he will never forget for being a loving and supportive parent.

According to Bar passer and certified public accountant Fidel Rico Nini, his inspiration for his studies is his dad named Federico who worked as a tricycle driver when he was still living.

"Hatid-sundo nya ako sa paaralan noong elementary at high school. Siya rin ang kasama ko tuwing lunch breaks. Isang mapagmahal, masipag, masayahin, at marangal na tricycle driver si Papa. He would proudly tell his fellow drivers and passengers about my achievements in school," said Nini.

Federico died due to cancer in 2017, the same year when Nini first stepped into law school. Since then, according to Nini, he strive harder to achieve the dream of his dad for him.

Nini works as a bank employee, college instructor, and online tutor while he is studying law during the day. He spent many sleepless and restless nights just to support himself that is why when he passed the Bar exam he was jumping out of joy.

"Tinawagan ako ng Bar buddy ko at kinwento ko agad sa nanay ko: Ma, pasar ko. I hugged her and we both cried," said Nini.

He has a lot of people to thank but he would like to offer and dedicate his journey with "exemplary performance" to his dad who remained to be his no. 1 fan until his last breath.

"My Papa, I know, is super proud right now in heaven."
