The 47-year-old Ruffa Gutierrez will soon no longer be just a pageant titleholder, a tenured actress, and a loving mom of two as she is about to be a degree holder as well a few months from now.
In an interview on "Magandang Buhay," Ruffa shared that she has been taking up Mass Communications at the Philippines Women's University for about a year now and is set to graduate in July.
The celeb mom narrated that she really "never thought" before that she would be able to study again.
According to her, she started in show business at the age of 14. Since she was earning and has been very busy with her career she felt like she "really didn't have to study anymore."
Thankfully, a "special someone" came and motivated her to go back to college and finish her studies.
"Para siyang mentor, kasi sabi nya, 'alam mo matalino ka, [bakit] ayaw mo magaral ulit? Tapusin mo yung college mo,'" Ruffa said.
"It's very fulfilling [to study again]," she told host Melai Cantiveros.
Ruffa is also getting inspiration from her kids Lorin and Venice. For her, they are the reasons why she keeps on working hard towards her goals.
