Everyone seems to be in shock after the veteran actress revealed that she left the Philippines for good and went to New York to start a new life again with her kids.
Gil shared the news in a cover story for Mega Magazine where she confidently posed with her bald hair as a symbol of rebirth.
According to Gil, she has been feeling tired, angry, and unhappy for herself, that is why without a second thought, when she had a chance, she sold all her stuff and flew to New York where her kids are living.
"I just had to make sure that first and foremost, my mental, emotional, spiritual states were getting the priority. I was getting tired of myself. And I was just so angry and unhappy, so I sold everything and packed up," she told MEGA magazine.
