According to uploader Jeremiel Flores Quinto, he was sitting inside a restaurant when he saw the rider named Manuel carrying his baby in the front desk of his bicycle.
“Tinanong ko po kung wala ba siyang mapag iiwanan ng baby niya kasi delikado gawa ng polusyon... Sabi po niya, ‘wala po eh, nakikitira lang po kami sa tito ko,’ tapos po ‘yung asawa niya raw eh nagttrabaho rin po,” Jeremiel said in an interview with the Inquirer.
Manuel said he had to bring his child because his wife was busy working as a helper in their aunt's store. They are currently living in one of their relative’s house and no one was also available to take care of his child during that time.
“Nagkataon lang na isama ko [si baby] kasi ['yung] asawa ko nagluluto, baka kasi mabanlian kaya ko isinama. Kasi po marami pong nabili dito sa tindahan ng tita ko,” he clarified.
Right after Manuel’s story was uploaded in social media, many volunteered to give some help for their family while they are trying to save enough money to rent a house and build a better future for their child.
