10-year-old boy, walks with her hands because of his disability

It is like the world has turned upside down whenever the 10-year-old kid from Manay, Davao Oriental walks because of his disability.

The young boy Ralph Mamusog uses his both hands to walk unlike any other children who can easily stroll with their feet.

Ralph and his family live a simple but difficult life in the province. They are financially struggling and sometimes the kid has no choice but to mix sugar and rice as his meal.

He also has difficulty doing tasks and even his personal hygiene because he only has complete fingers on his right hand.

Surprisingly, according to her mother, they did not teach Ralph to walk with his hands. He just suddenly did it when he was just 3 years old.

"Hindi namin siya tinuruan. Hanggang [sa] nag-edad siya tatlo 'yun nalang ang kaniyang ginamit. Ang kaniyang kamay [sa] paglakad," said his mother Alma.

Although the kid seems to be fine with his condition, he cannot keep himself from feeling envious of other children.

"Naiinggit ako sa mga bata kasi marunong silang tumakbo, marunong maglakad. Lumalayo na lang ako kasi tinutukso nila akong lumpo."

Fortunately, through the help of the program "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho '' a doctor was able to check on Ralph although further examinations had to be done to confirm what condition he has.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Information Office of Manay has promised to give Ralph a scholarship so that he can continue his study.
