An overseas Filipino worker feels truly blessed for her French employers for helping her build a good life for her family in Switzerland.
In her interview in Eat Bulaga's "Bawal Judgemental" segment, Cherrie Salamanca shared that her employers processed her papers to get her a resident visa in Switzerland so she would also be able to bring her family.
According to Cherrie, they are actually based in Dubai but because of the pandemic, her employers decided to stay in Switzerland which they frequently visit since 2015.
The Pinay nanny said her employers flew to Switzerland to process her papers while she was left in Dubai for a year.
Cherrie did not spend even a single penny on the processing of her papers. All she had to do was to relax in a hotel apartment where her employers left her.
“Isa yun sa mga reason kung bakit napakasuwerte ko sa amo ko. Sila lahat ang nag-process ng documents, papers, expenses, para lumipat dito sa Switzerland. And alam naman natin hindi madali dito sa Switzerland pumunta, at hindi mura para pumunta dito," said the OFW.
Apart from this, the French employers have also helped Cherrie purchase her own car, invest in businesses, and secure the college education of her child.
Meanwhile, Chloe Alzarka, Cherrie’s employer described her as “very loyal to our family. I can trust her with my children.” And this may be the reason why they are too generous to the OFW.
