A Facebook user is now knocking on the hearts of people online to help their friend who was diagnosed with cancer to gain enough funds to continue her medications and treatments.
According to Joeylie Grace Lee, her friend Annie Rose Tuazon has carcinoma, a type of cancer, and a tumor near her heart which has already affected her spinal cord.
"Kami po ay humihingi ng tulong pinansyal para sa aming kaibigan na si Annie Rose Tuazon . Siya po ay kasalukuyang nasa bahay lang nila simula pa noong June 26 at hindi masundan nag kanyang medication dahil sa pinansyal na kakulangan," wrote Lee in her Facebook post on Wednesday (July 28).
"Siya po ay na diagnosed na may Carcinoma, may tumor po sya malapit sa puso at naapektuhan na po ang kanyang spinal cord kaya hindi na po sya makalakad at namamanas ang kalahati nyang katawan," she added.
Lee said that Tuazon has children and a husband who also do not have the financial capacity to afford her friend's treatment. Hence, she is now humbly asking for donations so that she could help Tuazon live a longer life.
