Hidilyn Diaz, to give portion of her millions of pesos incentives to the church

Many are already looking up to the Filipina weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz after taking home the first ever gold medal of the Philippines in an olympic.

But, people's admiration for her intensified after knowing that  she will be giving a portion of her cash incentives to the church.

This was known after Diaz was asked in an interview with Gretchen Ho about her plans for the millions of pesos  that she will be receiving once she gets home.

"Sa totoo lang wala pa 'kong plano. Syempre magbibigay ako ng tithes," shared Diaz.

Tighting is the act of contributing one-tenth of an individual's income to a church or religious institution as a support.

The athlete also said that she will definitely save for her future and allot some of the money to support the weightlifting community so that the Philippines would have more great weightlifters in the future.

As of the moment, the cumulative cash incentives of Diaz have reached P40.5 million pesos excluding other non-cash rewards gifted to her by various brands and companies.
