Broadcaster Doris Bigornia back in the hospital due to infection; daughter asks for prayers

Veteran broadcaster Doris Bigornia is admitted again in the hospital but this time due to an infection, according to his daughter Nikki Bigornia.

In a Twitter post last Wednesday (June 30), Nikki said that the infection acquired by her mother requires a series of procedures to be treated hence she has to stay in the hospital.

"Sa mga nakaka-miss kay mommy @DorisBigornia sa SRO, nasa ospital po ulit siya. Nagkaroon po ng infection. May series of procedures siya in the coming days kaya we are asking for your prayers once again. Maraming salamat po!" wrote Nikki.

"SRO" is a DzMM teleradyo show where Doris works as a co-host with Alvin Elchico.

Last February, Doris suffered from a heart attack and underwent open heart surgery. After just a month, she immediately went back to work in TV Patrol and SRO.
