Regardless of socio-economic status, each of the 110 million Filipinos are set to receive P2,000 "ayuda" or cash aid under the Bayanihan to Arise as One Act or Bayanihan 3 law being proposed in Congress.
According to the proponents, under the P405.6 billion measure, the rich, the poor and those in the middle class will get cash assistance in two tranches.
“Everyone’s affected by this pandemic – poor Filipinos, rich Filipinos, and especially those in the middle class who were not covered by previous ayuda... So this ayuda will be for everybody,” said Rep. Sharon Garin, one of the individuals who drafted the consolidated Bayanihan 3 bill, on Tuesday (May 4).
Garin also revealed that the budget for Bayanihan 3 will come from fiscal measures, particularly increase in dividend rate of government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) from 50 percent to 75 percent and borrowing from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) just like what happened in Bayanihan 1 and 2 laws.
Speaker Lord Allan Velasco assured that upon the resumption of session this month, the chamber will prioritize the passage of Bayanihan 3 bill so that everyone will soon get help.
“As soon as we get back on May 17, we will fast-track the approval of Bayanihan 3... Everyone will get help during this pandemic,” Velasco said.
i don't think this is a good idea, maybe the rich should not be included, give mostly to the poor since they needed it most.Not all rich people are affected and of course their pocket is not empty.

And you are really absolutely right to your point of views because when you say rich means they do not get hungry and their pocket is always has an enough or more than they need. And as a Pilipino they have the right to remain silence or else 😁😁😁😁 este they also entitled to whatever the government program. And they supposed to have an initiative to do the right thing.
