Father names his newborn ‘Department of Statistical Communication’; wife shows no objection

While other parents are being meticulous and picky in choosing their child's name, an Indonesian father named his newborn simply after his workplace as his sign of gratitude.

According to the report of Inquirer.net on Wednesday (April 21), Slamet Wahyudi, 38, named his child Dinas Komunikasi Informatika Statistik, which translates to  Department of Statistical Communication.

Wahyudi said, his wife Ririn Linda Tunggal Sari did not protest with the given name because they have agreed before that if their child is a boy, Wahyudi will have the  freedom to choose a name.

However, relatives and friends seem not to be pleased with the child's name that is why they just call the baby "Dinko" as his nickname.

Wahyudi worked as a radio announcer before finding his passion in statistical communication where he served as a civil servant for 12 years already.
