Former actress and TV host Donita Rose gladly announced that she now acts as the corporate research and development chef for a Filipino supermarket chain based in the United States.
In her Instagram account, Donita shared a picture of her saying that she is officially working for Island Pacific, a store selling fresh meat, produce, and groceries with a specialization in Filipino cuisine on its 14 branches in California and three in Nevada.
"It’s official! You are now looking @islandpacificmarket’s Corporate R&D Chef. Wait ‘til you see what we’ve been working on together with @gtongi & @maricelaguilar2010 to bring Philippine Cuisine to the next level,'' wrote Donita.
She was already welcomed by the owner of Island Pacific, Krista Ranillo and husband Nino Jefferson Lin for being part of their family.
In an interview with grocerydive.com, Donita said that she has "been doing a bit of a fusion of different cuisines around the world, but yet, letting the Filipino elements shine."
