Two women have accused Cebu City Police of robbery, rape, extortion, and torture inside a "secret room" at Sawang Calero Police Station in Cebu City last week.
According to the first victim, a 35-year-old woman, more than 11 cops went to their home in Miglanillla town last March 9 to conduct a warrantless search operation allegedly because of illegal possession of firearms.
When no firearms were discovered during the search, the cops took the belongings of the woman.
On March 10, the victim was brought into a secret room instead of a detention cell. She was then being forced by the police to withdraw P170,000 for them.
On the same day, the woman was brought in a motel and was raped by Police Staff Sergeant Celso Colita who led the search operation.
On the other hand, the second victim, a 50-year-old businesswoman, has revealed that six police went to her store to arrest her for illegal drug trafficking.
When the cops did not find any evidence, they ordered the victim to open her vault as they were insisting that there is a drug money inside of it.
When no money was found in the vault, the cops allegedly took the other belongings of the victim, including the jewelries, and brought her in the secret room where she was tortured.
As of the moment, the claims of the two women are being investigated by a unit under the PNP's Central Visayas office.
Pasil Police Station 6 chief Major Eduard Sanchez has since been relieved from his post for failing to supervise his personnel.
