Raffy Tulfo undergoes self-quarantine after his driver tests positive for COVID-19

Famous radio presenter and broadcast journalist Rafael "Raffy" Teshiba Tulfo is now undergoing a 14-day self-quarantine after his personal driver tested positive for COVID-19.

In one of the episodes of his Raffy Tulfo in Action (RTIA) program uploaded in Youtube last Friday (March 26,2021), Tulfo announced that his driver exhibited some of the signs and symptoms of COVID-19.

The next day, they went to St. Luke's medical Center for a COVID-19 swab test. Two hours later, the results revealed that the driver is positive with  the virus while Tulfo is negative.

Even though Tulfo is confirmed not to be infected with the disease, he still decided to isolate himself for 14 days just to be sure that he will not spread the virus.

With this, he will only communicate in his program and staff  through telephone call or video call via Zoom for two weeks for safety purposes.

After his announcement in RTIA, he also urged all the companies in the Philippines to be transparent regarding the details of their employees who tested positive for COVID-19.

Tulfo believes that if the company will immediately notify their offices about their employees who contracted COVID-19, contact tracing will be easier and those individuals who come in contact with COVID-19 positive employees can immediately isolate themselves or undergo a swab test.
