6-year-old kid infected with COVID-19, bravely goes to hospital alone

Netizens are now applauding the braveness of a 6-year-old boy who peacefully rode in  the ambulance alone after being fetched by medical frontliners for COVID-19 treatment.

According to a Blackpink fan page, the child was infected with COVID-19 after his mother, who was first admitted to the hospital, has also tested positive for the disease.

With his small backpack and paper bag, the little boy nicely cooperated with the frontliners who picked him up in spite of having no companions from his family.

He even stood firm in front of many of their neighbors while being disinfected with alcohol spray by the frontliners before riding the  ambulance.

It is not disclosed where the  father of the boy is, and in what place the boy lives.

In an update post, the page said that the kid is now undergoing treatment with his mother in the same room in the hospital where they were admitted.

Many netizens shed tears with the sad story of the little boy. They are all now hoping for the speedy recovery of him and his mother.

As of March 23, the Philippines has logged more than 672,000 COVID-19 cases with more than 578,000 recoveries, and 12,927 deaths.
