OFW in Saudi dies after falling from vehicle; family remains unconvinced

An overseas Filipino worker has died after he allegedly fell from a vehicle he was riding, but his family is still unconvinced with his cause of death.

In a report in GMA regional TV, the OFW was recognized as Raymond Ambrocio, 27, from Nueva Ecija.

The family in the Philippines received a call about his sudden passing on February 16.

No further details were given regarding the death of the victim but the family believed that the foreigner friend of Ambrocio is the one that killed him.

According to the brother of the victim, Richard, the  OFW had bruises on his body and even had marks of strangulation on his neck.

He added that before the accident, Ambrocio was still able to send a video of him to his relative riding the vehicle. It was also there where it can be seen that a man was sitting next to him at the back of the car.

With this, the family seeks justice and looks forward to the return of the body to the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Esperanza Cobarrubian, OIC-OWWA-Region 3, said that it may take up to three months before the body of Ambrocio will be brought home because of long processing.
