The family of the veteran broadcaster from ABS-CBN, Doris Bigornia, is now asking for prayers after she suffered from a heart attack last Sunday (February 21).
According to the announcement made by his partner in DZMM teleradyo, Alvin Elchico, on February 23, Bigornia is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
She is conscious and is still able to talk with people around her but she still has to undergo an open-heart surgery.
WIth this, her family and Kapamilya colleagues are asking for prayers for the successful operation of Bigornia.
Bigornia is one of the most controversial journalists in the Philippines but one of the most highly regarded broadcasters in the country. She has also won a lot of awards and recognition for her excellent work.
