Netizens applauded the kindness of a policeman who bought all the bananas of an old vendor instead of scolding him for violating COVID-19 protocols.
According to reports, the policeman was recognized as Jojo Paguia from Bulacan.
Paguia bought all the products of senior citizens so that he will not be tired of selling anymore and for him to go home early given the fact that elderly are vulnerable for COVID-19.
Aside from this, he even gave the old man extra money as a help also for his family.
Because of Paguia's generosity and understanding, many netizens hope that his fellow policemen would also start being like him.
Recently, it was announced that persons aged 10 to 65 can only be allowed to go outside of their homes in modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) areas starting February 1.
