Nagpahayag na umano ng suporta ang first-term senators na sina Robin Padilla at Raffy Tulfo sa Security of Tenure Bill na isinusulong ng senadorang si Risa Hontiveros.
Sa latest episode ng “The Howie Severino Podcast,” nangako si Hontiveros na ipapasa niya anti-endo measure, maging ang universal pension for senior citizens, the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) bill.
“I’m sorry that we ran out of time in the 18th Congress for the Linga Para Kay Lolo at Lola Bill. This is the universal social pensions for senior citizens bill,” saad ni Hontiveros.
“In fact, I already started requesting senators-elect Raffy Tulfo and Robin Padilla who said and whom it was said, that they want to support the Security of Tenure Bill,” dagdag niya.
Ang Security of Tenure Bill o anti-endo ay layong tapusin ang labor-only contracting sa bansa na kung saan nagha-hire ang ilang mga kumpanya nang mababa sa anim na buwan para hindi makapasok sa regularization na nakasaad sa Labor Code.
