A newlywed from Roxas City, Capiz are still on cloud nine not only because they are officially husband and wife but also because of the big surprises that they have received from their special guests on their much awaited wedding day.
In a Facebook post that went viral recently, KaiKai Borbe posted some pictures of the couple wherein lots of P1,000 bills and money envelopes are attached to their wedding attires.
But what drew attention to the netizens is the brown envelope and receipts that are fastened on the bride's veil.
“Deed of sale,” at may official receipt (OR) at certificate of registration (CR) pa raw ng bahay, lupa, at kotse," wrote Borbe.
Through direct messaging, the bride Criselle Joy Alegre has exchanged conversations with PEP.ph about their viral photos.
Criselle said that she got married with her husband Al Vin Alegre on November 26, 2021. She confirmed that it is true that they receive a brand new car but she clarified that they were only gifted with a lot and not with a house.
Nevertheless, they are very thankful especially to her parents who bestowed such big blessings to them.
Even Criselle was surprised that her parents spent a lot of money for their gifts on their wedding day.
“Surprise po. Masaya na emotional kasi hindi namin inaasahan ang blessing na ito,” she said.
Criselle added that she and Al did not expect that their wedding photos would go viral. They are happy that many people are also glad with the gifts that they have received.
“We didn't expect na magba-viral and nalaman namin the day after the wedding na, nung nakapag-open na kami ng phone namin.”
“And sa mga comments, nakakatuwa madami yung natuwa, yung open-minded."
