Kasalukuyang ngayong isinusulong ni Quezon City Rep. Alfred Vargas ang pagsasabatas ng pagbibigay ng one-time cash assistance para sa mga pamilyang kumpleto na ang bakuna kontra sa COVID-19.
Sa ilalim ng House Bill 10644 o Ayuda sa Bakuna Act, ang Department of Social Welfare and Development ang nakatalagang mamahagi ng P15,000 cash aid sa mga kwalipikadong benipisyaryo.
“This measure not only alleviates the suffering of our fellow Filipinos in this two-year global pandemic, it also helps solve the problem by encouraging science-backed vaccination and accelerating our achievement of herd immunity,” paliwanag ni Vargas.
Lahat ng pamilyang Pilipino ay kwalipikadong makatanggap ng ayuda basta lahat ng mga nabubuhay na miyembro nito ay naturukan na ng first at 2nd dose ng COVID-19 vaccine na aprubado ng gobyerno.
“Vaccines save lives. Our nation’s strong vaccination drive has already shown that. Our program reflects the Filipino people’s values of bayanihan and damayan: to defeat COVID-19 and take back our normal lives from this virus, we need to help each other,” saad ni Vargas.
