Well-known actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin is one of the people who value the importance of education and bringing home a diploma as she was not able to do it because of her career.
Locsin mentioned about this in an interview as a special guest in "Mattruns," a podcast by actor Matteo Guidicelli.
The topic about education went on after Guidicelli asked Angel how she sees herself several years from now.
Locsin said that she would like to think that in the future she would have her own family and kids.
Guidicelli followed up and asked if she and her partner Neil arce would allow their kids to enter showbiz the way she did.
The actress said that she might probably permit them to do so but she would make them prioritize their studies first because she knows how important education is.
“Kasi hindi ako graduate eh. Alam ko kung gaano kaimportante ‘yung pag-aaral,” said Locsin.
“Alam kong may mga achievements ako pero iba pa rin talaga ‘yung may diploma ka. Pwede mo iyon dalahin kahit nasaan ka. Hindi ‘yun mananakaw sa iyo,” she added.
Locsin was offered to be a commercial model when she was just young. Being in a poor family, she immediately grabbed the offer given to her to help her parents. However, she never imagined back then that she would be in television until such time she appeared in GMA where she started as an actress.
