Actor Tom Rodriguez and fiance Carla Abellana recently trended online after the date and venue of their upcoming wedding ceremony was announced on social media.
The details of the wedding was revealed through a picture posted by the San Guillermo Parish on Facebook last Wednesday (May 12).
Because of this, the public knew that Rodriguez and Abellana will tie the knot on October 23 at Madre de Dios Chapel in Tagaytay Midland, Talisay, Batangas.
Abellana explained inher Instagram story that what the Parish posted is a wedding bann, a requirement for couples who want to get married in a church
"Hello, everyone! A wedding bann is a Church Requirement for Catholics getting married in any and all Catholic Churches in the Philippines. It is a necessary step to be able to secure a Wedding Permet," wrote Abellana.
Rodriguez and Abellana got engaged last October 2020 but they only announced it publicly last March 2021.
