21-year-old trans-man raped, killed by his friend and 2 other suspects

Justice has finally been served to a 21-year-old trasngender man who went missing for three days and was later found dead in Sitio Bakal, Bagong Silang, Quezon City on Thursday (May 20).

The victim, Norriebi Tria also known as Ebeng Mayor, was raped and brutally killed by three suspects identified as Zander Dela Cruz, 22, Joel "Nonoy" Loyola, 30, and Richard Elvin Araza, 34.

According to Mayor Joy Belmonte, the suspects were named after Dela Cruz, a childhood friend of the victim, directly confessed to the crime.

Dela Cruz said that he was just threatened by Loyola that is why he committed the crime, adding that the two other suspects  suddenly punched Mayor in the stomach.

The suspects have now been arrested and will face charges of rape with homicide and robbery. Loyola will also have to deal with an additional complaint of Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition.

Meanwhile, the parents of the victim are happy and relieved knowing that the persons behind the crime were already captured.

Kasi kung nasa laya pa mga yan, di kami matatahimk," the victim's father said.
