Real-life hero: Security guard saves 3 year-old child from burning car

A security guard named Kenneth Brian S Cangke is currently earning praises for saving a 3-year-old boy from a vehicle fire without hesitations last March 4, 2021.

Based on the screenshots of the CCTV footage of the incident, it can be seen that upon seeing the fire, Cangke immediately rescued the child out of the burning car.


After securing the young boy in a safe location, he took the fire extinguisher  and put out the intensifying flame.


With this, the Bureau of Fire Protection Regional Office XI acknowledged Cangke's bravery and even awarded him with a plaque of recognition.


A lot of netizens are also expressing their gratitude and salute for being the real-life hero of the kid.


“Essential workers are already heroes during this time of pandemic, but what this man did is way more heroic. We salute you sir!” said one of the Facebook users.


Meanwhile, the BFP reminded everyone to always be mindful of fire safety since fire can happen anytime and anywhere.
