Netizens were saddened upon seeing two children sleeping in a kariton or wooden cart while their parents work as a vendor in a public place in Divisoria.
According to a netizen who shared the story in a Facebook Page called Heaven Elements, the mother of the children is selling rambutan while their father sells grilled corn.
With this, the Facebook user also encouraged everyone to buy goods from people like the family that she saw to help them earn money and feed their family.
Many people agree and also sympathize saying that the parents may have no choice but to bring their young children on their work.
