Mother's eye gets hit by child's elbow; needs operation to prevent blindness

A mother from Barangay Banaoang, Moncada, Tarlac, might probably lose her vision after her three-year-old child accidentally hit her right eye leaving it swollen and damaged internally.

According to the report of GMA Regional TV "Balitang Amianan" last Wednesday (March 10), Kim de Rama, 22, is now experiencing pain and blurry vision because of the incident.

She already underwent an angiogram procedure where it was identified that there were  abnormal connections  in the optic nerves of her right eye.

The ophthalmologist said, the accidental hitting in the eye of Rama can cause a lot of problems such as bleeding. On the other hand, to prevent her from getting blind, she must undergo an operation.

However, because of the family’s financial limitation they are asking for any financial assistance to help Rama with her treatment to maintain her vision.
