TV program Raffy Tulfo in Action has finally started its community pantry in various barangays in Metro Manila last Saturday (May 22) aiming to deliver free essential goods to hundreds of Filipinos.
The pantry was organized by the TV host himself, Raffy Tulfo.
The RTIA team kicked off the pantry in Brgy North Bay Blvd South, Kaunlaran, Navotas City and Brgy Commonwealth, Quezon City on Saturday.
This was followed on Sunday (May 23) in Brgy Payatas, Quezon City and Brgy 64 in Tondo, Manila.
The pantry continued to serve on Tuesday (May 25) in four other barangays in Metro Manila. Each barangay received 625 bayongs to be distributed to its residents.
Each bayong contains essential goods which are the following:
5 kilos of rice
2 canned sardines
2 canned sausages
2 canned corned beef
2 canned meatloaf
2 pcs of instant noodles
2 pcs of instant pancit canton
1 pack of crackers for adult
1 pack of biscuits for kids
5 twin packs of instant coffee mixed
1 bath soap
3 sachet detergent powder
2 toothbrush
2 sachet of toothpaste
1 container of alcohol
10 pcs KN95 face masks.
The RTIA extended its gratitude to the LYKA community for giving the RTIA account LYKA gems worth P2.2 million and the Ultra Mega Supermarket for the 500,000 worth of groceries.
The local government of each barangay and the Philippine National Police were also thanked for helping the team have an organized and peaceful good distribution.
