A man was arrested by the authorities after he bought an illegal drug using the cash assistance that he received from Barangay Matandang Balara, Quezon City on Wednesday (April 14).
According to the barangay official, the man just finished claiming his P4,000 cash aid before he was caught violating the curfew hours of their place.
The authorities have found one sachet of methamphetamine or "shabu" to the suspect amounting P150.
He admitted that he used the cash assistance he received in buying the drug but he added that he gave the remaining P3,000 to one of his siblings.
The suspect, who is now in the custody of the police, also confessed that he is really a drug user.
