Three young cousins in Pampanga cannot contain their happiness after their grandfather built a swimming pool for them at the back of their house which used to be a pig cage.
According to Blessie Mangubat who shared the story on Facebook, her nieces and nephew aged 2, 4 , and 9 badly wanted to have an inflatable swimming pool.
Because of this, Blessie's father Wilfredo, decided to construct a swimming pool at the back of their house for the happiness of his grandchildren.
Blessie said, Lolo Wilfredo took a total of six days before he was able to finish the swimming pool with a resort vibe.
From the cement, hollow blocks, tiles and paint, Lolo Wilfredo only spent P4,000 for his do-it-yourself (DIY) swimming pool which is wide enough for his grandchildren.
A lot of people, on the other hand, were amazed with the work of Lolo Wilfredo. Some are even inspired to build their own swimming pool as well in their home.
“Nakatataba naman ng pus0. Na-appreciate ninyo yung ginawa ng Tatay ko. ‘Di ko ineexpect na magva-viral pala yung simpleng appreciation post ko para sa ginawang pool ng Tatay ko para sa mga apo niya,” said Blessie with a hashtag "proud daughter here."
