Abandoned by the parents, a newly born baby girl was found inside a box near a pile of garbage near Freedom Park 3 Batasan Hills, Quezon City at exactly 10:45 am.
According to Princess Ann Navarro Priolo who shared the story on Facebook, the baby was found by a garbage collector merely wrapped in a blue blanket.
She added that the baby was still alive when people saw her.
Based on the report of INQUIRER.net, the officers from the Batasan Hills Police Station 6 said the baby was brought by the responders to the Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital for immediate care.
However, the healthcare providers who attended the baby have later declared her dead on arrival.
The Batasan Police added, the baby was not even 24 hours old when found.
